Soups & Stews

Welcome to soups & stews where you will discover a wealthy of plant-based, oil free recipes.

Soup recipes are developed to satisfy a variety of your soup desires. Some recipes are great for lunches or as starters as companions for side dishes or main courses. Other soups are intended as full and complete meals should you choose.

If soup recipes are made for garnishes (and I'm a lover of garnishes), you'll get plenty of suggestions. Yes, the crumbs at the bottom of the tortilla chip bag can be put to good use. So can the extra bits of veggies that risk being thrown out.

Stews are more that 'thick soups'. My stew recipes are intended for making big pots of goodness. We'll be using a variety of vegetables, legumes and beans. These recipes are uncomplicated, but there is an emphasis on creating complex flavor profiles.

You will always be provided with ideas and enhancements so your recipes will never be boring. Food is meant to be enjoyed so there will be suggestions should you want to omit or substitute an ingredient or spice.
