Date Paste is an all-natural sugar substitute perfect for baking, dressings, sauces, and more!

All you need are pitted dates.

Soaking Dates first makes them easier to blend.

Add soaked and drained dates to a food processor or blender.

Pro tip: Start at a slow speed, add a little water (use the soaking water). Increase the speed as the dates start to smooth out.

Store date paste in a jar or airtight container in the refrigerator. It keeps for several week.

Store date paste or other fruit pastes in ice cube trays in the freezer.

Make fruit paste out of other dried fruit such as mangos and apricots.

Fruit pastes offer new flavors as sugar substitutes for vegan baking and a variety of sauces.

Date paste is great in homemade vegan hoisin sauce.

Sugar-free granola bars.

Even Kidney Bean Curry tastes better with date paste.
