Instant Pot Tomato Sauce

Make a delicious spaghetti sauce from scratch using canned tomatoes and a handful of ingredients. 🍝

This healthy, plant-based recipe is made with no added oil, so it's fat-free too!

Ingredients ~ Onions ~ Garlic ~ Tomato Paste ~ Red Wine ~ Red Chili Flakes ~ Salt ~ Black Pepper ~ Tomatoes ~ Vegetable Broth ~ Basil Stems

The secret to oil-free caramelized onions? 

Add vegetable broth!

Cook onions and broth for 5 minutes in Sauté Mode. 

Now, add the garlic, chili flakes, salt and pepper. 

Deglaze with red wine. 

Add tomatoes, basil stems, and more broth. Cook on High Pressure. 

After cooking, blend the sauce smooth.
