Vegan  Orange Tofu Recipe

Make crispy tofu in the air fryer or over. While that's cooking, make quick orange sauce. 

Dice tofu into cubes. Mix orange juice, chickpea flour, and a pinch of salt in a medium bowl. 

Toss the tofu cubes in the batter to coat. 

Add the tofu to a pre-heated air fryer or over. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and making flipping easier. 

Bake the tofu until it is brown on one side and you  can easily separate the tofu from the parchment paper. 

Tumble ti tofu off the parchment paper and let it continue baking until it's brown and crispy. 

Meanwhile, make the orange sauce.

Add 1 orange juice, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and maple syrup.  

Add sriracha to taste. 

In a small dish, whisk orange juice and cornstarch. 

Stir and simmer. 

Add the zest of 1 orange. 

Simmer until the sauce is thick and bubbly. 

Add crispy tofu to the orange sauce.

Cover the tofu with the sauce. And serve with rice and/or veggies for a great meal.
