Ingredients

  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 2-3 tablespoons Sriracha or another spicy chili sauce

Instructions

  • Whisk the tahini and lemon juice in a small bowl until it becomes creamy and smooth. Add more lemon juice or a little water if you want a thinner consistency.
  • Add the Sriracha. Start with 1 -2 teaspoons. Taste and continue adding sriracha until you have the desired spice level.
  • Makes approximately ¾ a cup of dressing.

Notes

  • The nutritional information is based on 2 tablespoons per serving.
  • Store this dressing in the refrigerator in an airtight container or jar with a lid for 2 weeks. Stir before serving. Add a bit of lemon juice or water to thin it if needed.
  • The best tahini is made exclusively from ground sesame seeds with no added oil during processing. Check the labels that it contains no oil and is certified gluten-free.
  • I used extra hot sriracha for this recipe, but there are many flavors available, including smoky or bbq flavors, that you can use. Check that your brand of sriracha is vegan and gluten-free if this is a requirement.
